Erbium-doped Fiber Pre-Amplifier for L-band (PA Amplifier for short) is an amplifier dedicated to L-band weak optical signals in the range of-45 DBM to-25 DBM. The typical gain of small signals is as high as 45 dB, and it has a low noise figure. It is usually used before photodetectors to improve its detection ability for weak optical signals.
