Ytterbium-doped Fiber Amplifier (YDFA) generates gain by pumping Yb doped fiber with semiconductor laser, which is used to amplify laser signal in 1030~1100nm band. Hi1060 single-mode fiber or PM980 polarization maintaining fiber output. The output power is continuously adjustable, which has the advantages of high gain and low noise. The desktop YDFA is convenient for experimental operation. The user can adjust the pump current and output power through the front panel buttons. It also provides a more compact modular YDFA, which is convenient for user's system integration. Both desktop YDFA and modular YDFA can support upper computer software control and serial port command control.
